Thu Jun 28 2012 Santa Cruz Eleven Fundraiser with Rick Walker, Bill Walker, and Tom Noddy
Fundraiser for Desiree Foster of Santa Cruz Eleven A support event for Desiree Foster of the Santa Cruz Eleven will be held on Sunday, July 1st, from 3-6 PM at India Joze restaurant. India Joze and Supporters of the Santa Cruz Eleven are hosting the community gathering, featuring Rick Walker, Bill Walker, and Tom Noddy, to bring awareness to the SC-11, and to help out Desire Foster who is experiencing financial hardships. At 19 years of age, she's the youngest of the SC-11, who have all been charged with two felonies and two misdemeanors. Desiree is caring for her mother, who was diagnosed with cancer.

Bruce Bratton writes, "Once again, it makes me deeply question the ethics and motives of District Attorney Bob Lee. You would think that a good District Attorney, anywhere in the country, would be focused on confronting and reducing suffering and crime in their community. But, in this situation, it seems as though there’s a serious miscarriage of justice. Our DA is, in fact, causing suffering!"
