Over 1500 Vigils Held in Solidarity with Cindy Sheehan

8/19 Update: Cindy Sheehan had to leave Camp Casey yesterday to tend to her mother, who suffered a stroke in Los Angeles. Other military families have pledged to keep Camp Casey going in her absence. Today, Democracy Now broadcast an interview with Cindy Sheehan that was conducted in the airport just before Ms. Sheehan flew out. She announced that there would be a bus caravan that would end in Washington, DC by September 24th.
