We Interrupt This Empire... is a collaborative documentary which documents the historic direct actions of March 20th, 2003 that shut down the financial district of San Francisco following the United States' invasion of Iraq. Since the film premiered on June 10th, 2003 at the Red Vic Movie House with four sold-out screenings, it has since played all over the country and world, proving that there was radical and mass resistance to this illegal war.
