A student organized walk-out at Willard Middle School in Berkeley was banned by the school board, and teachers and administrators discouraged students from participating. On 3/5 the students were locked onto school grounds and threatened with suspension. Update 3/6: A friend of peace cut off all the locks on the gates sometime last night, but students were locked in again after administrators replaced the locks. Nonetheless, 4 students were able to walkout today in the face of threats and intimidation. Report
A National Moratorium Against the War is being held this Wednesday, an event spearheaded by Not In Our Name.
