US Gov't knowledge of 9/11 attacks comes to light
US Gov't knowledge of 9/11 attacks comes to light
Opportunistic Democrats, conspiracy theorists and media pundits are revelling in the recent release of evidence that the Bush administration had ample forewarning of the 9/11 plane attacks on the World Trade Center and Pentagon. The Democrats want a Congressional investigation, conspiracy buffs believe this proves Bush and the CIA had a hand in the attacks, and media pundits are even acknowledging their "patriotism run amok." What is clear is that the public relations spin industry is going to have its hands full, patriotic fever will be whipped up by more terrorist attack warnings, real or not, and the corporate media will continue to deflect attention from the real issues of imperialism and empire.
