Palestine is preparing for all-out war with Israel following days of intense acceleration of the conflict by Ariel Sharon and the IDF. The Israeli army has entered Arafat's headquarters for the first time and entered Ramallah. An 18-year-old woman from Dehaishe refugee camp near Bethlehem has struck today in Jerusalem, and residents of Bethlehem are preparing for immediate Israeli terrorism. Arafat has called for all Palestinians to take up arms against Israel, and Palestinian militias are mobilizing. Hundreds of international activists who are in Palestine are spreading throughout the territories to confront and block the IDF soldiers.

Based in Jerusalem, the Independent Media Center of Palestine was launched on 3/22. IMC Palestine was founded to "record and explore the current practices of the Israeli occupation and the real background to the conflict. For the first time this will be a truly free forum for the Palestinian people who choose to participate. The unique characters in our voluntary group come from many parts of Palestine but the majority are refugees from areas now occupied by Israel.
