SF Board of Supervisors passed a reduced Business Tax settlement offer totaling $79.6 million to some of San Francisco's biggest corporations, including PG&E, Bechtel, Chevron, and Gap. These corporations were pursuing a multi-million dollar lawsuit against the City of San Francisco over an "unfair" tax structure. Although a reduced settlement, this money threatens cuts in city services, such as health care, housing, homeless programs, and neighborhood services.
