It's the end of summer and Mountain View public schools have started. Despite being worn down by a long first week at school, many children showed up to this week's rally to bolster demonstrators' voices demanding rent control. This is the third Friday that members and allies of the Mountain View Tenants Coalition have marched for rent stabilization in the heart of Silicon Valley.

Kids as well as adults took to megaphones chanting La renta sube, sube ....El pueblo sufre, sufre! The Mountain View City Council will meet in on September 8; songs and chants in both Spanish and English energized the crowd for a big rally planned for that date.
