Revolution Books Merchandise Damaged by Water Dumped on RCP Table
Two Supporters of The Revolutionary Communist Party kicked out of the Anarchists Book Fair
On March 15, two supporters of the Revolutionary Communist Party were kicked out of the Anarchists Book Fair. Later, a bucket of water was thrown at their table damaging books and leaflets.

In a statement, Modesto Anarcho Crow wrote “Sick of watching their ugly fucking faces attempt to distract potential comrades, and sick of the bastards who have done nothing for the past three months but try to co-opt and control Oakland's rage, we stepped in.”

In response, the RCP supporters have circulated a petition calling on people to denounce the attack against them. “We denounce this act and call on the organizers of the anarchist book fair to do the same. This sort of attack is repressive and reactionary and is the complete opposite of the culture of discussion, debate, and dissent that we need in order to create a vibrant, liberated society.”

Bash Back!, however, a group of radical queers, supported the action and reminded people of the anti-gay ideology held by the RCP not long ago “The RCP and other state communists are not allies of Queer people or Anarchists. While we do admit there are bigger and better battles to fight, any space that is safe for the RCP is not safe for Queer people.” Read more
