Anarchy Week 2007
Each year, the week leading up to the Bay Area Anarchist Bookfair and the BASTARD conference of anarchist theory includes more and more events.

This year, the Anarchist Bookfair took place on two days, on Saturday, March 17th from 10am to 6pm and on Sunday, March 18th from 11am to 5pm at the San Francisco County Fair Building in Golden Gate Park, near Ninth Avenue and Lincoln Way. The BASTARD conference took place on Sunday, March 18th from 10am to 6pm at UC Berkeley's Dwinelle Hall.

"What are 8 days of anarchy? They are a series of events coordinated around the BASTARD conference of anarchist theory in the San Francisco Bay Area in March." This year's events included: several discussions, an anarchist martial arts seminar, strategy gaming, a movie, a conference, and an all day derive on Friday. On Saturday, people had the opportunity to spend time on the mat in a seminar with Jeff Monson, who is an anarchist Mixed Martial Arts fighter who recently fought for the heavyweight title of the UFC (Ultimate Fighting Championship).
