Three Arrested in Auburn and Accused of Planning ELF Actions
Eric McDavid, Zachary Jenson, and Lauren Weiner Face Court Dates in Sacramento
Eric McDavid, Zachary Jenson, and Lauren Weiner were arrested on Friday, January 13th in Auburn, and accused of "conspiring to damage or destroy by explosive or fire" cell phone towers, power plants, and US Forest Service facilities as members of an Earth Liberation Front cell. The FBI paid a confidential informant who was "embedded" in this alleged ELF cell. The three are being held in Sacramento County Jail, awaiting January 20th and January 24th detention hearings. They have requested prisoner support, including letters, books, assistance in obtaining legal counsel, and support for vegetarian diets.
