8/31: Activists from Direct Action to Stop the War were arrested in New York today, as they called for actions "Beyond Voting", and for Real Democracy, Not Empire. Several people from Fresno were detained near Ground Zero. The War Resisters League and others marched from Ground Zero to Madison Square Garden to perform a "die-in."
