V-Day es día de recordar a las mujeres de Juárez
Eventos sobre las mujeres de Juárez
En solidaridad con la marcha desde El Paso, Texas hasta Ciudad Juárez, hubo manifestaciones en San Francisco: una protesta en el consulado mexicano en el 13 de febrero y un vigilio en el Parque Dolores en el 14 de febrero. Se mostró el documental Señorita Extraviada en Sacramento y Davis en los días 7 y 9 de febrero. Los asesinatos han inspirado arte como este poema. Como dice la película, hay muchas preguntas sobre quién está matando a las mujeres de Juárez- los recientes arrestos de 13 policías estatales dan mas esperanza a la posibilidad de una resolución de estos asesinatos. En el 17 de febrero se mostró el documental Hasta que se pare la violencia, sobre el movimiento acerca de The Vagina Monologues (Los monólogos sobre la vagina) en el canal Lifetime (en cable). Otros eventos en California relacionados a "V-Day."
