Activists Shut Down San Francisco As Baghdad Burns
Anti-War Protests Still Going On
Legal Update Here | Info for class action suit Here
Emergencies protests in San Francisco have been going on since Wednesday night with no sign of slowing down. People gathered on the streets as soon as news reached us that Iraq was being bombed. Resistance and outrage is growing against the capitalist system that keeps many people in this country homeless and without basic needs like health care and food, while attacking other countries to amass power and resources for the wealthy. Bay Area activists succeeded in shutting down the city on Thursday and a good part of Friday. Much police misconduct and brutality was witnessed on 3/21, including arresting people for standing on the sidewalk and beating people. There are massive protests planned throughout the weekend and into Monday.
