NYC Indymedia volunteer Brad Will killed in attack by Paramilitaries in Oaxaca
Friday Attacks in Oaxaca City Leave 3 Dead, 11 Wounded and 2 Missing

Friday night update: Indymedia volunteers in Mexico have confirmed that there have been people wounded, injured, disappeared, and hospitalized in Oaxaca, due to hunger strike. APPO reported that schoolteacher Emilio Alfonso Fabián died from three bullet wounds after an attack by shooters who were in favor of Ulises Ruiz Ortiz outside the state government palace. Subcomandante Marcos issued a call for people all over the world to unite and to demand justice for Brad Will.
Oct. 27th: A shooting occurred today in Oaxaca City, Mexico, leaving New York City Indymedia journalist Bradley Will (William Bradley Roland) dead - he had been shot in the chest. He died before reaching the hospital. The assassin was identified from videographers' tapes from the scene. Two people were arrested later in the weekend in relation to the killing.

There were several protests over the weekend. People gathered Saturday at 7pm at San Francisco City Hall for a vigil for Oaxaca and the 5 people who were killed there on Friday. Photos: 1 | 2
