1/15: About 100 people protested Taco Bell's world headquarters in Irvine, CA. At issue is Taco Bell's refusal to pay their tomato pickers a living wage, or to even meet with the Coalition of Immokalee Workers (CIW), the organization of Florida tomato pickers and supporters, to discuss a pay raise. This protest is merely a buildup to a national march on 3/11 that will be led by CIW, whom are traveling across the country to hopefully meet with Taco Bell corporate executives and discuss a raise.
