San Francisco’s March for Our Lives on March 24, 2018 was easily over 100,000 strong since the Civic Center rally filled up the entire Civic Center from the library to city hall during the first half hour, and people kept streaming to the rally even as the march started at 2:30 p.m. down Market Street to the Embarcadero. An estimated 1,000 Students from 4 high schools on the San Francisco Peninsula joined forces to march along El Camino Real on March 14. After the rally police estimated that the figure was 1,500. A memorial for longtime Santa Cruz activist Pat Arnold will be held on March 17th, 2018 from 2PM-5PM at the Resource Center For Non-Violence. Pat passed away peacefully in her home on February 3, 2018. She was 92 at the time of her passing. Pat's obituary describes her as "a force to be reckoned with, an inspirational and tireless social and political activist, whose boundless energy made a difference in every community where she lived."...
