BART Creates a New Way to Become a Criminal. The Vicious Crime of Seat Hogging.
In April, the BART Board passed a law making it illegal to occupy two seats during rush hour on a BART train. The law was not to take effect until the BART police presented their implementation strategy. At the most recent BART Board meeting the BART police presented how they intend to enforce the new law.

Longtime BART director Joel Keller admitted he wants police to target homeless folks
Joel Keller, who introduced the "seat hog" ordinance, is upset by seeing people sleeping on trains. “We at some point need to get serious about whether BART is a homeless shelter or provides transportation,” Joel Keller said. This quote is specifically related to the new seat hog interrogations and penalties. He'd like to add even more.

Fab coverage of trans folks acting up!
Hey Dina, Totally love your video of trans people booing and mooning Mark Leno, who has a thin skin and thinks he's hot shit above criticism. Who the eff cares he's got one of his useless proclamations? He and the Mayor and Scott Wiener and David Chiu, all on the stage, are just trolling for votes and using trans folks as props. They don't give a damn a lotta trans folks and others can't afford to live in SF or other parts of the Bay Area. They just want mic and camera time. My big question for the Trans March people is why the hell are you even inviting the elected to speak? We get enough of their bullshit daily from City Hall. Reclaim Queer Pride and boo politicians!

It's time for the City to cut Pride loose. No monetary support. No use of Civic Center for the two-day party. No government support at all.

Mexico Teachers' Murders Protested In SF "Massacre Made In USA"
Teachers and other community activists and unionists protested at the San Francisco Mexican consulate the massacre of teachers and community activists in Oaxaca. They called for an end to US weapons being sent to Mexico and also put responsibility for the massacre on the US multi-nationals and capitalist politicians from the Democrats and Republicans to privatize education through NAFTA and the Mérida Initiative which has militarized Mexico.
