City workers arrived this morning and are constructing a fence through the heart of the Beach Flats Community Garden. Don Emilio and coalition members are on hand, imploring workers to preserve perennial plants and stop compacting soil tilth that gardeners have spent 20 years creating.
§Update from this morning
by Beach Flats Community Garden

City workers came & installed an orange plastic fence, dividing the garden. The whole garden remains intact. Gardeners watched the workers closely and community members showed up to support & observe. The workers have left and due to no indications of further action & verbal assurances to that effect, we've called off the emergency alert for today. Thanks, & stay tuned for further updates or urgent alerts in the coming days & weeks as negotiations continue regarding the fate of the Jardín. ‪#‎SaveTheJardin‬

It would be INCREDIBLY easy to sabotage Seaside Company's business by boycott and destroying their property.

Ps. I hear SOMEONE just fucked with the Big Dipper's braking system. Better find it and fix it before tourists get killed!
