Newly-elected (by his own City Council) Mayor Mike Rotkin will cross verbal swords with Robert Norse in the Free Radio Santa Cruz studio.
Topics are expected to include: the proposed ban on new medical marijuana clinics and growhouses, recently installed anti-homeless architectural changes downtown (Penguin statutes, fencing, bench removal), the ever-repugnant outdoor and vehicular Sleeping Ban, the City's $120,000 defense of its repressive City Council decorum rules, the prospect of new anti-war initiatives at a city level, city support for "green" psychiatric alternatives, renter protection legislation locally...and more.
Call in with your questions and comments at 469-3119 and 427-3772. (Area code is 831 for distant folks)
You can also e-mail questions in advance to me at rnorse3 [at] hotmail.com !
Rotkin and City Council can be reached directly at 831-420-5020.
