text June 5th Cal Primary: Two Greens Made Top Two for 11/18 Elections by Labor's Gains & Lessons
It finally happened. The Green Party of California has made the Top Two for November 2018 in US Congressional Districts 34 and 40. In District 34, Kenneth Mejia will run against incumbent Democrat Jimmy Gomez (43) who has only been in office for 1 year. In District 40, Rodolfo Cortes Barragan will run against incumbent Democrat Lucille Roybal-Allard (76), who has been in Congress since 1993 (13 terms), but only 5 years in this new district. Both districts are in the Los Angeles area....
