JBLM DES Protection Division - The Evil Still Lives
The Protection Division at Joint Base Lewis-McChord in WA State has a long history of spying on civilian communities in WA, OR, and CA. JBLM Cop Watch was formed to expose JBLM police misconduct and hopefully make the community safer by shining a light into dark places on JBLM. But we need your help...
If you were to search online for information about the Joint Base Lewis-McChord (JBLM) Protection Division you would find articles that warn that "Your Rights and Freedoms Are Being Denied by the Joint Base Lewis-McChord Force Protection". https://www.indybay.org/newsitems/2016/02/23/18783250.php
You would find that "Your Civil Rights Are Being Violated by JBLM". https://www.indybay.org/newsitems/2017/09/23/18803121.php
And you would find that "Joint Base Lewis-McChord is Spying On Civilian Cell-Phone Conversations with Stingray?" https://www.indybay.org/newsitems/2021/10/06/18845451.php
These are very serious issues stretching as far back as 2011 (https://casetext.com/case/panagacos-v-towery-6). Yet, the 'Protection Division' still exists and it exists as part of the corrupt and abusive Directorate of Emergency Services (DES).
Just this month (Nov 2021) they were praising themselves on their Facebook page for their 'Insider Threat Program'. (A program that has little to do with actual threats and is instead focused on spying on the military and civilian communities, and suppressing any objection to DOD/Government policy or activities.)
The JBLM DES Protection Division poses a critical threat to the safety and well-being to individuals and communities throughout Washington, Oregon, and California. Of course, there are people at JBLM who care about your rights and who strongly object to the activities of the Protection Division, but it is almost impossible for them to speak out against these illegal activities without losing their jobs and becoming the targets of harassment, cyber-stalking, and even violence.
Send an e-mail to the JBLM Provost Marshal at usarmy.jblm.imcom.list.des-provost-marshal [at] mail.mil calling for the disbanding or the Protection Division, and demanding that JBLM personnel who violate our rights be held accountable for their crimes. You can also leave a comment through their Interactive Customer Evaluation (ICE) system at https://ice.disa.mil/index.cfm?fa=site&site_id=957&dep=DoD
