A Parable About Speaker Nancy Pelosi

Huge thanks to Leon for photographing our awesome event at Speaker Pelosi's house. We had a sit-in, we did our MORE WAR PLEASE skit, we cut the Pentagon (cake), and I delivered a piece of cake, MORE WAR PLEASE script and a CODEPINK "Cut the Pentagon" flyer to Nancy's front door. A fine day to call out war-funder, climate denier, and billionaire member of the oligarchy Nancy Pelosi, the most powerful person in government because she controls the federal budget as Speaker of the House and decides what legislation the Congress can vote on. She doesn't seem to be aware of the impending extinction facing us, nor of the thousands of sick and homeless on the streets of the city she is supposed to represent in Congress. I wonder how much $ she and her family make on the war economy? Is that why she always approves the Pentagon budget and adds billions more? Nancy, you should be the one serving cake, as in "let them eat cake." www.codepink.org
