Thanks for the thought provoking interview on the labor vote at Bessemer, Alabama's Amazon plant. As you can see in the attached CBS article at https://www.cbsnews.com/news/amazon-union-alabama-vote-against/
738 people voted for the union, despite serious intimidation by Amazon and not enough organizing by the union. That is enough to continue with the organizing drive in Alabama, which should be nationwide at ALL Amazon facilities, so that there is a sense of a team effort. The reason we are having all of the problems in this society is because labor is only 10% organized.
The CBS article also has Biden's pitch for the union in a video, as does Mike Elk's report at https://paydayreport.com/flawed-approach-sunk-amazon-union-drive-but-birthed-national-movement/
Biden makes an important point that the National Labor Relations Act requires the government to encourage labor organizing. Such a position from the 1935 NLRA is clearly the result of serious labor organizing which has not been seen in this country in 2 generations.
Now is the time to get off the dime! Organize the Unorganized! Organize Amazon NATIONALLY.
