Hello! Glad you posted this, but just FYI: if you meant to suggest that people stay 6 feet apart, the correct abbreviation would be 6’ not 6”.

It’s easy to remember this if you think of “feet” as having one syllable, so use the symbol with just one mark, and “inches” has two syllables, so use the symbol that has two.

Anyway, good luck! I hope we can make it through this without too much damage. :/

Is there a Facebook event page for this march? Or something shareable?

I'd like to know who the organizers are, to make sure this is still happening AND that it is a peaceful protest.

Hi There,

I would like to contact the organizers. I have some ideas such as laying in the streets for 9 minutes. More importantly I want to be sure that this is a credible protest and not just some far right tactics to get a group together to cause mayhem. I have concerns as generally SF students would be followed with a school student union etc. Please respond with information. Thank you.

I have seen a very experienced activist post on social media that the organizers for this event are No Justice No Peace SF. I'm still looking for more info about it too.

Per their Twitter post, DSA San Francisco has endorsed the event. so maybe they know who the sponsors are (and how to reach them). See: https://twitter.com/DSA_SF/status/1267339489556324352
.
"Additionally, Black Oakland youth have made a call out for a demonstration Monday at 4pm beginning at Oakland Tech, and on June 3rd, there is a 4pm demonstration planned at Mission High in San Francisco. Please share these suggestions with our young people and show up to provide mutual aid for them, as well."

Who are the organizers of this protest?
Any successful protest has demands, what are theirs?
Is there contact information for their organization or leadership?

Everyday there is a small protest at City Hall. So this one at Mission is separate? Also, will there be a march towards city hall from the Mission? I think there should be. As a show of force.

"It's youth and student led and all kinds of bay area groups are joining. it is in daylight hours and in a public place."
