The Trump Pence Regime Must Go

Daily protests began in Puerto Rico with no more than 100 people. By Wed., July 17, there were tens of thousands, then hundreds of thousands! In two weeks after the news leaked of the “chats” and vile comments by Puerto Rican Gov. Ricardo Rossello and associates, amid a corruption scandal, Rosello resigned.

Puerto Rico’s governor isn’t even a petty criminal compared to the Trump/Pence regime. Start with concentration camps for children, naked racist assaults on the whole society including members of Congress, vile and degrading talk, corruption – and fascism.

A July 25 tweet said: “The message from Puerto Rico is that truly mass protests can ultimately force a country’s leader to resign. Oughtn’t we – the majority of Americans who believe Trump is a criminal – be building a series of DC and nationwide protests to draw in millions of people?”

EMERGENCY MEETING to figure out how to launch this now. You are invited.

Here we are 14 months before the presidential election of November 2020. The first thing I did when I saw this invitation to end the Nazi Trump regime is look at the polls at https://projects.fivethirtyeight.com/trump-approval-ratings/. Again, I found 42% supported Nazi Trump! Then I did some reading and I found that Nazi Trump is defeating himself with his trade war with China by destroying his farm owner support in Iowa, Wisconsin, etc. See “Worst Year Ever”: The Chinese Ban on U.S. Agricultural Products Will be a Death Blow for Countless U.S. Farms” by Michael Snyder, 8/9/12 at

Puerto Rico, an American colony of 3 million people, is far easier to mobilize than the USA, a country of 329 million people, and the heart of the American octopus. It is much easier to change course with a small ship than a large ship.

These horrors we hear about in the immigration prisons, for example, are not really new, and do not resonate with regular voters. The same is true for many of the other horrors. What matters in the presidential election is the economy.

When Nazi Trump is gone, we will be left with the twin capitalist party of war and fascism with the Republicans, namely the Democrats. When it comes to blockading Venezuela, for example, the Democrats support Nazi Trump's blockade of Venezuela to destroy the society that nationalized Venezuela's oil, the largest oil fields in the world. The Democrats gave Nazi Trump more than he asked for in the military budget. Trump is a symptom of the disease called capitalism; the solution is socialism which only a labor movement capable of carrying out a general strike can achieve by putting an end to the capitalist profit motive that is the cause of all our grief.

Curt, In case I can't attend your meeting, wanted you to know a March on Washington for Sept 21 was just announced. Would be great to have Bay Area event to march in solidarity!

"We the People are marching to be seen and heard. We are marching to remind our elected officials that they work for us."

"We are marching because the current regime is a threat to our democracy and values. We are marching to demand action. Silence and inaction are complicity."

See website for details and solidarity march info
