List of Republican Senators who voted in favor tax deform bill

By Lynda Carson — November 29, 2017

On November 29, 2017, 48 Democrats voted against the GOP’s disastrous tax bill up for consideration that screws the poor and middle class by proposing $1.5 Trillion in tax cuts for the filthy rich.

In contrast, 52 Republicans voted in favor of begining a period of debate for the despicable tax bill that favors the rich. A debate that may last up to 20 hours. A final vote on the legislation will occur after debate, and a series of votes on amendments. The House and Senate will have to reconcile the differences between the two competing tax bills, before a final vote occurs.

For what these despicable Senate corporate myrmidons are proposing to do to the American people on behalf of the filthy rich, it appears that if they got what they deserved, they may be 6 feet under someday if the American public ever got their hands on them.

I am not advocating any kind of violence towards anyone. But considering what has happened to Mayor Harvey Milk, President Ronald Reagan, John F. Kennedy, Robert F. Kennedy, Huey Long, Gabby Giffords, President Abe Lincoln, President James Garfield, President William McKinley, including many other American politicians that have been shot, it appears that when riled up, the gun manufacturers have made it so easy for anyone to get guns, that the American public does not have any qualms about shooting or killing politicians that have pissed them off. Indeed, considering that around 500 people were shot in Las Vegas recently, the gun manufacturers have contributed to these very dangerous times.

What the despicable GOP is doing to the American public with their disastrous tax deform bill that favors the filthy rich is totally insane, unacceptable, and unreasonable.

Meanwhile, the GOP’s racist mad dog commander in chief made global headlines today by retweeting some racist anti-Muslim videos earlier. Once again, Donald Trump reminded us that he is not mentally fit to be president. As recent as November 27, the ignorant racist dog President Donad Trump used a Native American slur by calling Senator Elizabeth Warren, Pocahontas, while honoring Native Americans that were standing in front of a portrait of Andrew Jackson, the former racist president who had thousands of Native Americans slaughtered while he was in office.

That would be comparable to honoring a group of Jews in front of a portrait of Hitler.

These are insane times.

First, one correction. Harvey Milk was a Supervisor in San Francisco, who was assassinated along with Mayor George Moscone on November 27, 1978 by former Supervisor Dan White, a former cop. See https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Moscone%E2%80%93Milk_assassinations

Second, every single one of these Republicans was ELECTED. We have to ask who is voting for these Republicans? Why is it that they appear better than the Democrat who opposes them?

After all, we remember the 2011 Budget Control Act requiring a mandatory cap on government spending annually until 2021 in its sequestration process supported by Democrat Obama. This alone is a disaster that is continuing, even if this tax bill fails.

This writer can remember the old Democrat Stevenson campaign song of 1956 when campaigning against Republican Eisenhower ("Ike"), "Ike has cut the taxes, but not for you and me." This tax cut legislation is an old game, and can only end when labor puts an end to the capitalist profit motive.

The truth be told, there is not a dime's worth of difference between the twin capitalist parties, the twin parties of war and fascism, the Democrat-Republicans. They both serve exactly the same capitalist class, the richest 1/10 of 1%, the owners of the means of production, anti-labor by definition. Most of the US Congress, Democrats and Republicans together, just gave Nazi Trump $700 billion for war, more than he asked for. We cannot have guns and butter. Even if this rollback of all reforms for the workingclass since 1932 Tax Bill passes, the military budget is ALREADY destroying all such reforms, albeit at a somewhat slower pace. Only Peace & Freedom and the Green Party have anything to offer the workingclass, the 80% of Americans who sell our labor for less than $80,000 a year.

Only labor organizing for a national general strike to put an end to the capitalist profit motive can finally put an end to this nightmare we constantly experience called capitalism. Just remember, when labor withdraws its hand, nothing moves.
