Featured speaker Christine Hong is an associate professor at the University of California, Santa Cruz, and an executive board member of the Korea Policy Institute. She has spent time in North Korea, including as part of a North American peace delegation.

North Korea (DPRK), is surrounded by vast U.S. military power, including hundreds of nuclear weapons on submarines sitting right off its coast. Yet, in the corporate media, it is North Korea that is demonized and accused of being the aggressor, despite making a proposal that could
immediately end the danger of a disastrous new war.

Also, the Duterte Regime & Trump: Philippine President Rodrigo Duterte has declared martial law in Mindinao, and is waging a murderous campaign against poor people throughout the country, with the full backing of Pres. Trump.

Join us for presentations and discussion on the current situation in Korea and the Philippines.
