This is the fourth year that the Bay Area has joined thousands of cities all over the world for V-Day's One Billion Rising, the largest global action to end violence against women and girls in history.

"In some of the worst times we've ever seen, the BEST is rising and coming together in Oakland: activists, artists, advocates, spiritual leaders, revolutionaries, dreamers...from the unimaginable horror comes crazy, radical, inspiring, brilliant love. Don't miss it."

--Eve Ensler
