An additional item was added to the previously planned special CLOSED City Council session. I doubt this is just a coincidence considering the activist's co-opting Tuesday's City Council meeting and holding a much better session where the REAL issues were discussed.

2. Pursuant to California Government Code Section 54957(a): SAFETY OF PUBLIC ACCESS TO PUBLIC SERVICES AND FACILITIES. Consultation with: OPD chief, OFD chief, City Administrator's Ofc, City Administrator and City Attorney's Ofc, City Attorney
Something similar had happened after the activists had occupied the plaza in front of City Hall in 2011 and again when a large number of activists had protested the City's plan to accept Federal money to create a combined City-Port spy center known by it's military lingo - the Domain Awareness Center - the DAC.
Contact the people listed above and let them know this discussion is rediculous and if it is to happen, it needs to be heard in public.
This link will give you a good start for finding their telephone numbers and email addresses: http://www2.oaklandnet.com/Government/index.htm
