"The Art of Protest at 50"
A conversation with Sharat G. Lin, research fellow and past president of the San Jose Peace and Justice Center, and collector of the posters on display.
The Art of Protest is a collection of 26 original silk screen poster prints made by students in the late 1960s and early 1970s. They document social protest movements at UCSC and other campuses.
The Art of Protest is on display in the Senior Common Room at Cowell College from April 20 until June 5, 2015. Hours are by appointment from the Cowell College Office when no classes are being held in the room.
Free and open to the public.
Sponsored by Cowell College and the San Jose Peace and Justice Center.
