The worst fear of seniors living in apartments in San Francisco is that they might get evicted. Learn what can be done if you, or someone you know, gets that eviction notice, all from a tenant who has led anti-eviction actions and is under threat of eviction herself.

Also learn what is being done to protect low-income housing, and particularly how short-term rentals (Airbnb) are causing evictions of seniors, and how improved legislation can make a difference.

We must:
• Preserve what we have,
• Prevent all the new types of evictions, and
• Keep our rent-controlled housing stock for San Franciscans, not tourists.

OWL is the only national membership organization to focus exclusively on critical issues facing women as they age. We work together to improve the status and quality of life for midlife and older women through national, state, and local networks. Read more at http://tinyurl.com/85no7vg
