Updated List of Santa Cruz Police Department Personnel

by SCPD (posted by Norse) (rnorse3 [at] hotmail.com)
I received this updated list of SCPD personnel--buffed up considerably from the earlier posting (referenced below). For those involved in copwatching or using the police in any capacity, this is a list of badge numbers matched up with employees.

Badge ID List for SCPD

Since police are not held accountable by City Council, the City Manager, or the Police Chief, nor the "Police Auditor", I encourage the community use its video and audio capabilities to record and post incidents to both encourage citizen pushback against police abuse as well as press authorities to respond to incidents such as the Officer Vasquez takedown of Richard Hardy (https://www.indybay.org/newsitems/2013/04/23/18735710.php ), and the "gun in your back" behavior of Officer Hernandez [https://www.indybay.org/newsitems/2013/11/29/18746999.php ].

A previous listing of police numbers from a year ago is at https://www.indybay.org/newsitems/2013/11/01/18745758.php .

Robert is rehashing year or so old links to prove some point that can't be proved with the info provided at those links.

One link leads to a misleading video of a 'drunk getting his face slammed into the pavement' that we never get to see because the AMATEUR (**Guffaw**) videographer "forgot" to keep the camera pointed at the incident (the incident described is obviously intentionally not shown unless one cares to believe the clipmaker got caught in a raging fleeing mob on Pacific ave).

...and the other link? It leads to the alleged SCPD pulls gun at Salvation Army Thanksgiving meal story that was never updated with any factually information at all.

I've been persuaded by the consistent accounts of Jasmine, her husband, and her mother in the Hernandez account--these are available in the archives of my radio show.

As for the Vasquez drop-and-smash, I think the video is persuasive.

Just my opinion. Form your own. In the meantime, use the SCPD badge numbers to good effect.

Brent's video of Vasquez inserting the drunk into the car shows nothing. Brent made like he was jostled by some non-existent crowd and pointed the camera in the air at the critical momets in question and he EXCLAIMED Vasquez did so.

I call BULLSHIT simply judging from the force being applied to the drunk as he was being pulled back from the car door and his velocity of movement toward the ground in the last second or so that he's visible. it's quite obvious he's moving to a SITTING POSITION, and the next step would be forward from that position.

The only IA worthy thing about the whole vid is the officers actually let someone they believed intoxicated try to stand up without assistance, and the drunk fell down.

Regarding your opinion of the veracity of the "gun drawing" claim, IMHO quite simply You believe and publish anything without any evidence if it fits your agenda Robert. Even baldface lies. You enable your cohorts, like Brent to do the same, and anything any of you say should be assumed, at best, to be half-truths
