Scarf Lady Kate's Hearing Postponed

Date:
Tuesday, March 25, 2014
Time:
8:30 AM - 8:30 AM
Event Type:
Court Date
Organizer/Author:
Robert Norse
Location Details:
701 Ocean St. Courtroom 1

A friendly street vendor repeatedly harassed by "Community Service Officer" Barnett during the day on Pacific Ave. and by night at her spot where she rests in her van has had her initial arraignment postponed from 8:30 AM in Courtroom 1 on Tuesday morning 3-25 when it was originally scheduled.

The new time she will face arraignment (and ultimately trial) for four citations (two for sleeping in a vehicle, one for vending without a business license, one for not moving after an hour on Pacific Avenue) will be in late May in the courtroom of Steve Siegel (Dept. 1).

Check with Kate on Pacific Avenue near the Coffee Roasting Company or contact me at 423-4833 for more updates. Or listen to Bathrobespierre's Broadsides at 101.3 FM Sundays 9:30 AM to 1 PM or Thursdays 6 PM to 8 PM).
