On the other hand,
I suspect that many Japanese already know slaughter in Taiji.
Of course, this is a result of noble-minded efforts of an overseas protection organization.
"Ignorance is pretended " ?
That is, neither a whale nor a dolphin exists in regular Japanese's life. Japanese people do not already treat a whale as food. There is the situation where this slaughter is easy to be disregarded.
Only people who want to keep this slaughter industry fanatically shout, "tradition".

The composition of the supply and demand as food has already collapsed.
The Japanese government has the stockpile of 6000 tons of frozen whale meat.
