farm_work_day.jpg
Date:
Saturday, March 09, 2013
Time:
12:00 PM - 4:00 PM
Event Type:
Class/Workshop
Organizer/Author:
Davin Wentworth-Thrasher
Location Details:
The School Farm is located next to the athletic field at the Ruth Asawa School of the Arts and the Academy of Arts and Sciences - 555 Portola Dr. San Francisco. Enter the campus via O'Shaughnessy Blvd @ Portola. Close to 36, 44, 48, and 52 Muni lines. From the parking area on O'Shaughnessy, walk down the hill to the right towards the athletic field. We'll be on the farm the behind the bleachers across the field. See ya there!

We’ll be at it again as we do every second Saturday of the month - Arizmendi refreshments and all. This time if you stop by the School farm to lend a helping hand, we’ll be starting seeds for our spring and summer garden, clearing space for our fence row orchard and planting a few fruit trees as well. Time and help permitting we’ll continue along the path of weeding and preparing beds for veggies as well as prepping our northeast quadrant for a grain growing project. If you’re not familiar with the School Farm, see location details!
