Sukkah Erected in Oscar Grant Plaza, Oakland
A sukkah stands in the midst of tents that are part of the Occupy Oakland movement in Oscar Grant Plaza (also known as Frank Ogawa Plaza). A sukkah is a temporary hut constructed for use during the week-long Jewish festival of Sukkot.
Sukkōt is the Feast of Booths, also called Feast of Tabernacles.
