May 24 is Judi Bari Day.
This year, we will gather at the site of the bomb explosion at the precise time it changed many of our lives with a loud boom.

Park Blvd. near MacArthur in front of Oakland High School
The time the bomb exploded was close to noon. We will gather by 11:30 to say and hear words and observe "the moment": right around noon.

Every year since that fateful day in 1990, we have, in one way or another, remembered what happened that day--a memory against forgetting--we have honored the warrior woman Judi Bari, we have protested the nefarious FBI and their COINTELPRO tactics, still alive today, we have remembered that we are community.

Last year on the 20th anniversary of the bombing of Judi Bari and Darryl Cherney, we had two big commemorative events and brought together a huge number of people that helped us remember who our community is, and the threads that tie us together.

Bringing songs and musical instruments would be wonderful.
Viva Judi!
