F* is for FOSTER: An event in honor of National Foster Care Month

San Francisco, CA - On Wednesday May 25th the John Burton Foundation for Children Without Homes is hosting a food truck fundraiser at Fort Mason’s Herbst Pavilion to raise awareness and funds in support of California’s 200,000 homeless youth and thousands of foster youth.

The benefit will feature tastings from five favorite Bay Area gourmet food trucks (CurryUp Now; LIBA Falafel; Tacos San Buena; Eat Mo’ Bowl; Little Green Cyclo), bay area breweries (Magnolia Brewery; Black Diamond Brewery; Lagunitas) and wineries (J. Lohr; Vina Castellano). The event will also include live music and a great silent auction (Giants Tickets; Weekend getaways; Silver Oak Wine Package).

All proceeds from the event will support former foster youth in their pursuits of higher education.
