Action Alert: SF Public Access Shutdown

by Anonymous
Momentum is building to slow the demolition! Please call Mayor Newsom's office TODAY at (415) 554-6141 or email gavin.newsom [at] sfgov.org and say: no relocation without a plan.
Sample e-mail:

Dear Mayor Newsom,

Public access television is important to me. It provides a voice for those who are never listened to, covers issues ignored by the mainstream, and provides training and access to media for thousands every year. Funds provided by the cable companies who make millions from SF residents provide these channels and production facilities for the public good of the people who live here. San Francisco is responsible for the proper and best-planned use of these funds. San Francisco cannot proceed with destroying the current facility and relocating it without the submission of a plan by the operator that is approved by the City and vetted in a public hearing with public comments. This is basic good government and proper supervision of municipal resources.

Postpone the shutdown until the plan is received, approved and put through a public hearing.

San Francisco deserves no less.

Don't expect a Crook like Newsom to intervene at the 11th hour on behalf of San Francisco's Taxpayers and direct one of his Cronies and Criminal Accomplices, BAVC, to keep the doors open at Community Access Television on 1720 Market Street.

This Sweetheart Deal was sealed way before it went out to bid last Spring to the General Public. (VERY RELIABLE SOURCES).

Theft of Public Monies and Public Property are Punishable Felony Crimes in the State of California and the U.S.

SF Taxpayers need to call the Fed. DOJ and Cal. AG and Demand a Criminal Investigation and Prosecution of these High Crimes.

The Public Airwaves belong to The People. Don't let these Gangsters steal them from We The People!

Demand a Criminal Investigation and Prosecution of these High Crimes Now!
