California, the federal government and most states are facing budget crises. How much of this is local and how much is it rooted in the overall capitalist economy? How can we build movements to fight for our natural rights to housing, health care and transportation without losing sight of the need for a greater movement to change the system which creates these recurring crises? How would a socialist society try to solve the problems? These will be the questions at a Peace and Freedom Party discussion forum in the parlor room at Spud's Pizza. Food and drink are available for purchase in the next room. Bring your questions and ideas.
