We the taxpayers have given Bank of America $45,000,000,000 of public funds. What have we gotten for our money? Nothing. We paid for it - we should have a say in how it's run. Bank of America Unauthorized Taxpayer-Shareholders Meeting As citizen shareholders it's time we voted on how our bank is run. We're calling an unauthorized protest meeting of disgruntled shareholders to propose and enact resolutions. As citizen shareholders it's time we voted on how our bank is run. We're calling an unauthorized protest meeting of disgruntled shareholders to propose and enact resolutions on: (1) Governance: As an insolvent institution, should Bank of America be placed under a temporary FDIC receivership and blank-check taxpayer handouts halted? (2) Officers: Should the BofA CEO and board members be removed, and their bonuses wiped out? (3) Decentralization & Regulation: Should BofA be broken up and sold back to the private market with strong, new regulatory and antitrust rules in place? (4) Other: As shareholders, what other reform resolutions should we enact?
