A Teach-In on Drones
June 22nd, 6:00pm, Mudrakers

Less than 10 years ago, our military had fewer than 100 “DRONES”, computer-operated killing machines.

Today our military has over 7000, responsible for the killing of 93% to 97% civilians during their attacks, and Obama has asked for an additional $150 MILLION in his recent War Supplemental to increase the number and technology of DRONES.

What are these killing machines? Where did they come from? How are they operated? Is American life so much more precious than any other life on this planet that it is acceptable for us to kill remotely, to kill without direct risk to American life, to utilize robots, drones, video-operated killing machines?

Find out everything you never wanted to know about the new and improved means with which our military is stamping out life in the name of our empire. And find out what we are going to do about it!*

Susan Galleymore will be our guest presenter at this upcoming MMMEG (Monthly Monday Meet, Eat & Greet), June 22nd 6:00pm at Mudraker’s Café, 2801 Telegraph Ave, Berkeley. RSVP 510-540-7007 or email info bayareacodepink.org

Also presentations on Creech AFB, the heart of DRONE operations by Janet Weil; the companies and their subsidiaries that profit from the making of DRONES by Stephania Widget and Marie Bravo.

Scrumptious Mediterranean Buffet and schmoozing with amazing CodePINK commadres, including our new intern Kristy Kumar.

Suggested donations: $15 to $150! More if you can, less if you can’t! FUNDRAISER for our *GROUND the DRONES Encampment July 2-14, and our delegation to Vincenza to block yet another US military base!
