Despite the nearly 50-year blockade by the U.S., Cuba has not only survived, but has made advances in all aspects of economic and social life, including health and education.

Come hear analyisis on Cuba today and see a slideshow presentation by social documentary photographer and ANSWER organizer, BIll Hackwell, who has been traveling to Cuba for over 15 years, most recently this past May Day. Discussion will follow.
