CCSF Anarchist Library presents:
The SF Bay Area has one of the highest concentrations of worker-owned cooperatives and collectives in the country. This weekly seminar will offer a look into the broader history of such organizations to contextualize them as part of a larger movement towards truly democratic, horizontally structured autonomy from state or corporate control. We will hear from historians and seasoned members of local worker owned cooperatives and collectives. We will also learn practical ins and outs of operating as a collective, including organizational practices and processes, financial planning and legal issues.
