"Voices of Courage" Celebration

Please join Family Violence Law Center (FVLC) in “Voices of Courage,” our celebration of serving 10,000 abuse survivors in one year. Attorney and best-selling author Cupcake Brown will speak about her personal experience with domestic violence. Ms. Brown is the author of the New York Times best-selling memoir, A Piece of Cake, and she was featured as a “Phenomenal Woman” in Oprah Winfrey’s O Magazine. FVLC will also present five awards to honor community partners who have participated in its work to end domestic violence, including a “Justice Award” to The Clorox Company. The dinner will include a silent auction and a performance by freedom choir Vukani Mawethu.
