Session One -- CCWG Administration and Development

candidates for elected office at all levels -- local, state and national. If accepted, have placed
on the next General Assembly agenda.
Continuing Followup to Sonoma County February 2007 Strategy Sessions. Issues: How to coordinate with ERWG and GROW in using IRV as an organizing and strategic issue.
Brief review of GPCA Endorsement Procedures: Discuss whether to resubmit June 2006 statewide offices proposals because no official minutes from that plenary. If not, final text still needed to post
on CCWG web page. Also, currently no procedures for GPCA endorsement of local candidates.
Recruit CFSC participants (assumes CFSC proposal adopted by GA)

CCWG Co-Coordinator and Assistants Vacancies
The CCWG will need to select a second Co-Coordinator from its members at the September 2007 plenary to serve a two year term. Co-Cos have leadership responsibilities including scheduling meetings and preparing agendas, preparing work plans and budgets, keeping membership and other records, representing the CCWG to the CC, plenary Agenda Team and Budget Committee,
and coordinating CCWG projects. Co-Cos are expected to attend monthly CCWG telephone conferences, and at least one Co-Co is expected to participate in the monthly SC/WGs
Co-Cos telephone conference. Gender and geographic balance among CoCos is encouraged. GPCA Bylaws also provide for assistants to Co-Cos to act as alternates at meetings.
CCWG Committees Needing Volunteers
1. Fund Raising -- To develop a directed donations campaign to supplement budget for
the 2008 CFSF and create a reserve for a future CCWG independent contractor staff person
2. 2008 Coordinated Campaign Strategy -- Develop proposals for 2008 GPCA candidate themes, position papers, and internet support. Work with GIWG and Platform and Media Committees
3. IRV Strategy -- Develop IRV as a candidate and organizing strategy working with GROW and ERWG
4. Media -- Develop media tools and strategies for candidates; Work with Media Commitee
