Pet owners can relax
Assemblyman Loyd Levine pulls AB 1634 from consideration due to lack of support.
Assemblyman Loyd Levine made the announcement today that he is pulling the bill AB1634 or the California Healthy Pets Act from consideration due to lack of support amongst his constituents.
That bill if passed would have required pet owners to spay or neuter their pets in six months, or face a stiff $500.00 fine. Pet owners could also have submitted some form called the intact animal permit.
Bob Barker from the Price is Right supported that bill, whereas John Provost from the hit TV show Lassie fought against it.
