A planning meeting for the Uhuru Art Auction, a benefit for the Uhuru Movement, which is uniting African people worldwide to regain control of Africa's resources for the benefit of all African people everywhere. Africa is the richest continent on the planet in natural resources, yet in Africa, the majority of the population lives on $1 a day or less. Everywhere African people have been dispersed throughout the world, they face poverty and oppression as a result of 600 years of slavery and colonialism. The solution is one Africa in the hands of African working people. The Uhuru Art Auction will raise funds for the movement that is bringing together African people and developing programs by and for African people to transform their reality for a prosperous, healty future for African people everywhere. Join us in planning for a successful September Art Auction.
