Event: For three decades, Senator Joseph Biden has served on the Senate’s Foreign Relations Committee. When he became Chairman in January, he immediately held high-profile hearings on Iraq, and the Committee passed a resolution to stop President George W. Bush from sending more American troops to Iraq. As one of the Democratic candidates for president, Biden is outspoken on the Administration’s handling of the war. Biden thinks the Democratic Party has become too timid and believes there are practical answers to the challenges America faces. Come hear Senator Biden firsthand on how he plans to restore the middle class and America’s standing in the world. Co-sponsored by the Bar Association of San Francisco.
